Last month my girlfriend and I went on a fantastic cruise. Usually, the cruise ship entertainment was planned out to the minute. And it was good – we had comedians, dancers, musicians. You name it, we had it. However, one night, the entertainers didn’t show up. So the cruise staff started asking passengers if they had any talent – they were looking for a fill-in. I thought about it for about 2 minutes and then I volunteered my services.
You see, I’m an avid poker player, and I love jokes. I also love to surf the web. One day I came upon a great site, Poker Joke. It had the funniest online poker jokes plus more. They must have had up to 50 jokes. As chance have it, I memorized several jokes and tested them several times on my poker buddies. They loved them.
So, I got up and started my comedy act. I told all the best online poker jokes and the audience loved it. In fact, the cruise director approached me to fill-in when needed.
